SERVLETS. Java Servlets provide web developers
with a simple, consistent mechanism for extending the functionality
of a web server and for accessing existing business systems.
Servlets are protocol and platform-independent server-side components,
written in Java, that dynamically extend Java-enabled servers,
without the performance limitations of CGI programs. They have
access to the entire family of Java APIs, including the JDBCTM
API to access enterprise databases. Servlets can also access
a library of HTTP-specific calls and receive all the benefits
of the mature Java language, including portability, performance
and reusability.
PHP

done by our staff in PHP. PHP is compiled as a module with MySQL,
gdbm, and gd support.
